Bowling and Ghosts!

Well today I went bowling with my new friends..and typically every time I play in America I lose big time. For some reason I was on fire, and now the German students think I'm some crazy bowler. So were going back sometime next week. It's been amazing getting to meet so many amazing people and learn about them in their own world. One thing I did not realize is the tension that still remains between Germans in both east and west Germany. We talked a lot about that, among other things.

I have been eating a lot of Turkish and German food. Its all amazing, I was happy that picky me could enjoy all the different foods. Probably one of the funniest places we have gone is a Mexican restaurant in the bottom floor of our building. It has palm trees, Mexico's flag, imported mexican beer and everything EXCEPT mexican food. Literally it has nothing. The closest thing they make to a mexican dish is Nachos with jalapenos and a white cheese. Which I had an enjoyed!

I think my dorm building may be haunted. All long last night I kept hearing the sound of a door slamming, and I kept waking up. It was weird. I asked Kristin who lives a floor below me if she heard it and she said no. So maybe its just me.

I have a German language exam tomorrow and I'm nervous as always. I think it will go just fine for picking up a new language in a week and a half. Then after my exam I'm going to sit in on the english language class with some of my new German friends because they think the teacher is crazy and doesn't know how to speak proper english but I don't think I can either.

I think were going to Prague this weekend, or Vienna. Anyways stay tuned for more pictures and updates!

Gute Nacht!
